It is easy to forget how much Spice dominated the market for a while. The true innovators of herbal incense blends, for a long time there was nothing to compete. Slowly but surely, however, other brands began to emerge.

Maybe this was the beginning of the end for Spice. Suddenly everyone had heard of this amazing blend of herbs that produced such languid and relaxing effects. As soon as the Government began to take notice, the typical knee-jerk reactions occurred and Spice, along with all its competitors, was wiped out and banned.

This caused a great deal of distress, obviously, to those who had become fans of herbal incense blends. Thankfully for the fans the markets have always been dominated by supply and demand. Even though the supply had dried up the demand was still there. Soon the clever boffins began working on brand new blends that contained none of the banned ingredients, and now we have such wonderful new blends as Blast Off, Tai High and Shokotsu, you’ll wonder what the fuss over Spice was all about in the first place!

The consistency and look of Chillem XXX was very much the same as Super Chillem. It was very fluffy and again, required no grinder as it was very easy to crumble straight into a joint. I found that it smoked very smoothly without any sideburn what so ever, which is always a plus.

The effects were similar to the Super version but were even more potent and I found that it lasted even longer. One joint took effect for about an hour and a half, which is quite long compared to some other incense blends that only last 30mins.

Overall I really enjoyed this product and think it will become one of my regular smokes from now on.

A few weeks back I ordered a 3 gram bag of Super Chillem from the internet.  When it arrived I was eager to try it out so immediately rolled one up. The consistency was very fluffy and I even found that a grinder was not necessary as it was very easy just to crumble it straight into the joint.

It also burned very even and smoothly where some of the others I have tried have a tendency to side burn. However the flavour is not the best I’ve tasted.

As for the effects, as I mentioned in the top 5 post, it made me feel extremely relaxed and lasted for roughly 45mins to an hour which is reasonably long. For me, it made an awesome night time smoke, as if I had a few joints it would almost definitely put me to sleep.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good incense blend and would recommend giving it a try if you get the chance.

Jumping Nuns : The large energy boost and long lasting effects with little to no come down put these little beauties in top spot.

Bumblebee Super Energy Product : A massive yet clear headed boost of energy, again, with very little come down.

Diablo Energy Pills :  These have been around for a lot longer than most and never fail to do the trick but occasionally leave me with a bit of an almost hung over feeling.

Hummer Energy Pills:  Again, one of the older generation energy products, they are strong and can last up to 12 hours per dose. So if you need to be up early the next day, I’d stay clear.

Giggle Laughing Pills : Not the strongest, energy wise, but made it to the top 5 due to their almost euphoric effects. If enjoyed in the right company, these will have you laughing all night.

So there it is. My top 5 energy supplements. I hope this helps you to find a product that works to your preference.

Having quite a high tolerance for this kind of product I decided to take two of the four that came in the packet. In hind sight I think one probably would have been enough as all I was doing was playing computer games all day long (which isn’t exactly taxing, energy wise).

Other than a massive rush of energy and talking my friends’ ear off all day, I didn’t really notice any other effects (good or bad). It lasted for about five hours but I suspect that it would have been shorter if I had of only taken one pill.

As always, keep yourself well hydrated or you may find you get a bit of a headache or slight dizziness. Overall I would say that this is quite a good product and does what is said on the packet

The consistency of Konked is pretty much the same as Blowout (a fine white powder) and is sold in 1 gram packs. I decided to try a little bit the day before the party so that I knew in advance what the effects would be like. The small amount that I tried was actually more effective than I was expecting and was definitely stronger than Blowout.

That weekend me and a few of my mates managed to get through three packs of the stuff and none of us had any kind of a come down. The day/days after, I did feel a bit rough but I’m pretty sure this was down to the copious amounts of alcohol I had consumed and not the Konked.

Overall I would say this is an awesome energy snuff and most definitely will be buying it again.

Today I am going to give you a list of my top 5 incense blends that are legal so that, hopefully, you can figure out which is best for you.

Blast Off! – Its delicious fruity flavor and its mellowing, giggly effects put Blast Off! at the top of my list.

Tai High Super Strength – Its fluffy consistency and “Super Strength” bring  Tai High in at a close second.

Super Chillem – Again, it has a very nice consistency and gorgeous “super”  chilled effects make it an awesome smoke.

Magic Gold – Like its predecessor, it has an awesomely fluffy consistency and makes for a very pleasant smoke.

Shokotsu – Made by the same company as Magic Gold, it is pretty similar but has an amazing blueberry aroma.

So there you have it, my top 5 incense blends. I hope it helps you to find one that suits your preference.

We all decided to try out some Jumping Nuns energy pills that I got of the internet about a month ago. (I had been saving them for the right moment)

For me, they took about 35-45 minutes to kick in and when they did, I felt an instant boost of energy. There was no loss of co-ordination that I have felt when taking some other energy pills, some of which gave me an almost drunk feeling.

The Jumping Nuns left me feeling very clear headed, bubbly, energetic and made for the most intensive Frisbee session of my life.

I did find that they gave me occasional hot flushes but this may have just been from the heat and all of the running around. Also, like all energy pills, make sure you keep yourself well hydrated. One of my friends got a bit of a headache but this went away quite quickly after a few glasses of water.

That night I did not feel any ill effects of a comedown and the day after, I woke up feeling fresh as a daisy.

This is an awesome energy supplement that I will probably be using again at some point this summer.

Its highly palatable taste and its fluffy consistency make for an extremely smooth and pleasurable smoke, whether it’s in joint, bong or pipe form. The smoke is not nearly as harsh as most of the other incense blends which often make you feel as though your chest is going to explode.

As for the effects, the term ‘Super Strength’ is pretty much spot on!

I fear I may have used a bit too much in the first joint I rolled, as it seemed to put me straight to sleep. In subsequent spliffs I used just a little pinch and this seemed to do the job quite nicely. I would advise working up to larger joints so that you can judge its effects to your own tolerance.

In small amounts I would describe the actual effects as being really chilled and mellow along with a slight touch of euphoria (which is always a welcome touch). Over the course of an evening I found that I became increasingly buzzed with occasional fits of laughter.

As always, I would recommend listening to some chilled music and good company for an evening of pure delight.

Oh yeah, I also hear that Thai High have released a bubble berry scented blend which I am eager to try out.

For those of you who don’t know, Kratom is a stimulant derived from the plant Mitragyna Speciosa that is native to areas of South East Asia. It has been used by locals for many, many years to aid physical and manual labour. Traditionally they chewed the leaves whilst working; this would produce a numbing and stimulating effect.

Kratom is pretty widely available now. More often thnan not it comes in a very fine powdered form that can be mixed with liquids or turned into a tea and then ingested.

I used a packet of UEIm Ultra Enhanced Micro which can be purchased at headshops and mized it into a glass of juice, then drank it down straight.

Wow. I felt fantastic. My mind felt clear, calm and happy and my body felt like it just had to do something. Even boring chores like housework felt really enjoyable. Once I’d done one thing I couldn’t wait to do the next! I went for a really long walk and the more I did, the more I wanted to do.

The effects came on incredibly quickly, after only about 10-15 minutes and I felt energised for several hours. After doing a little research I have found out that at larger doses Kratom becomes a sedative rather than a stimulant, and can even have slightly psychoactive effects. I shall certainly be experimenting with this one!
